As I arrive at the hotel I spot this little lizard and take
the precaution of taking a snap just in case its the only wildlife I see.

My first real wildlife -- a langur monkey
Then what I have come to see -- a beautiful tigress just a
few meters from the car,

And she has her two cubs.

One cub stays with Mum almost all the time -- the other is
in to everything -- scooting in and out of the bush to see who is about
& generally looking for trouble.

The inquisitive (male?) cub has got himself with the car
between Mum & himself. Some plaintive calls asking what to do
seem to be answered with a 'you got yourself into the mess -- you get
yourself out'. Mum, to say the very least, was relaxed about the
whole situation.

A few minutes later I see a leopard -- but no photo.
He broke cover and hightailed into the bushes about 50 meters away as if
he was the ginger tom from next door with a rotweiler on his tail.
Lunch!!
Try eating an orange with these guys around. It
becomes an art form to keep them at bay. And Rabies is an incentive
bonus scheme designed to make sure you do!!
I think this is a Chital deer
A tiger on his prey in the bushes from an elephant.
Once he had 4 elephants around him he protested and all four
stepped back smartly. The power and speed was frightening.
My humble home for the duration.
Chital?
And again
This lot adopted me and called me Uncle Sahib. The
oldest girl spoke pretty good English, the next two kids could do a
reasonable job (for their ages) while the baby had yet to make a start.
The guy in the centre was both the hotel manager and my
guide for all of the safaris into the park.
