This is my photo album of an amazing holiday.  Six weeks touring in India on a bike.  I covered some 1250+ km.  Cycling is the right speed to see India.  You are travelling fast enough to avoid a lot of the hassle but slow enough to interact with the people and get a real sense of the place - as you will see many of the photos are of groups of people I stopped and spoke to on my travels.

The holiday was divided into four phases.

The Godawari River Valley.  Hot but dry.  Roughed it in local hotels.
Tigers in Kannha National Park. Cold mornings and evenings. Luxury.
Tamil Nadu. Wet to start, hot and very humid. Roughed it in local hotels.
Kerala. A perfect climate - especially in the hills.  Went a bit up market for the last part of the trip.

Each photo is a thumbnail.  Click on it for a larger version.  Some of theme are quite big so may take a while to download if you are using a slow connection.  Some will come out sideways.  Please turn head or screen to view.  Hit the back button to return to the index pages.

There is so much to see.  I just scratched the surface on the trip - and these photos are only a snap shot of that.
